Communication was the key in making the process stress free for most part. However, the communication and follow through after closing was very poor. Several issues occurred during first weeks and 2 months later I don’t have clear communication on when issues will be addressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Builder in Florida My wife and I came down to FL and our realtor told us DWH is one of the best and after our house was completed. We would have to agree. Once we saw their Mcclenaghan home we were in love with it. When we got the call from our DWH Sales agent tell we have a lot. The whole process was amazing and tiring but in a good way (wife and I spent a total of 10 hours in the design center). DWH built our house exactly how we imagine, with some unfortunate improvements that made our vision of perm home even better. We got to use our pool tiles for an insert in our kitchen and in master shower listello and soap dish insert. From Sales, Design Center, Builder, to Warranty DWH's people are on top of everything.

From the beginning the team went above and beyond to make us happy. Mark was our salesperson. He followed up on all things, made fantastic suggestions for our home that we value now, and after over 6 months of living in the house, he still follows up every now and then to see how we are doing. Matt was out builder. He was very responsive and transparent with what to expect. This was great considering all the industry issues ongoing due to the pandemic. When we had a concern on the house, he was very knowledgeable being able to explain in details where needed. The design center experience was okay. I wish we had more time and honestly do not know how many people get through on selections within the time given. I work in the design field so it was 'easy' to get through the limited timing. Our designer was experienced and was able to help advise and give us extra tips for certain areas which was great! She met deadlines on returning quotes and was able to answer / help with all our questions and concerns. David Weekley gives a personal touch that most builders do not. This is valuable in this industry these days and I hope DW continues to have this and not take on too many jobs taking away from that very important personal experience for their homeowners.

Our sales person and personal builder ( Lisa and Sergio) were everything you could expect and more. Today’s process takes longer due to shortages and honest and frequent communication is essential to understanding what is being done and when the various stages will be completed. We had weekly calls to update us and we always felt like we understood the process. When it came to the finishes that we will forever see inside and outside the home, Sergio did not stop until we were totally satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Home In A New City Our family relocated from New York to Settler's Landing in Nocatee. It was a huge move and we were not able to be local for the build. Throughout the process the sales person and general contractor were very approachable and tried to keep us up to date with all the changes by doing weekly phone calls and sending pictures whenever possible. We felt very comfortable communicating via text or email when ever we had a question or concern. The builder tried and were successful in timing our closing with the sale of our previous home. The closing went smoothly and after closing the warranty department has been very responsive. All in all we feel very blessed to be in our dream home.

When it was time for the in- person appointments, we felt like we were very prepared. While the current times were challenging for builders and suppliers all over the country, DW kept the communication lines open.

They made what we thought would be a daunting and stressful endeavor so easy and enjoyable. We never felt the need to even visit our home during the entire construction process. We were kept up to date every week with phone calls, texts, photos, and detailed updates. After our first conversation with William we knew that he was going to take care of everything, and he continued to go above and beyond our greatest expectations. He worked tirelessly to be sure every detail was flawless. He was always checking on the progress of our home and kept us informed constantly. We were so comfortable with David Weekley that we encouraged our parents to purchase a home remotely as well. They also had the same excellent experience and service. We saw our home and lot for the first time a few days before our closing date and have lived in it for about a month. We find something new to love about it everyday! We can not say enough great things about the DW team and our experience and are living proof that the Weekley way was most definitely the best way we could have ever chosen!!

Having built a new home in 2000 in Lake Nona, Orlando and after living in Lake Nona almost 20 years, we decided to seek out David Weekley for another look with our Jacksonville move. During the pandemic, we understood there might be complications, but the entire team from kept us informed, and set expectations to insure our home was completed and met our changing needs!

The communication could have been better as well as the updates from our builder. We did not like that we could not make changes to our home as it was not in the sheetrock phase. We were excited to move into our before the holidays. However, we have now ran into major plumbing issues a week before Christmas which is no fun.

With the help of Harry our sales rep and Sergio our builder, we were able to create our beautiful brand new home with all the creature comforts we desired! It's one of the best decisions we've made during our 31+ years of marriage. We highly recommend David Weekley homes, you won't regret it!
