Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic ALL Around Our Build Experience was ABSOLUTELY Fantastic.   Patrick & Shelby/Erin were TRUE professionals that wanted to ENSURE our Satisfaction THROUGHOUT the entire process, from Lottery to Final Close.  They were proactive in communication, Calm at EVERY question, LISTENED to UNDERSTAND FIRST, THEN responded. Their QUALITY checks, (marker, blue tape, etc) throughout the process were clearly evident AHEAD of any comment by us as future owners.  As a Professional in the Real Estate Industry, I get to see a LOT of different Homes,builders and Selected David Weekley Homes as OUR Choice based on Value, Quality, and Attention to DETAIL.  We have been THRILLED with the End product and FOLLOW UP by the DW Team to JUST CHECK IN to make sure everything going as expected.  Evidence they TRULY Cared about the Buyers, AND the HOME Product they were delivering. Project manager is great as well and did the quality work. Only thing concerning is the false promises/verbal confirmations with out the proper knowledge.

From start to finish, the communication was outstanding! All our questions, big or small, were answered immediately or even before we thought to ask. Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Positive Experience The people (especially Shelby Hooker, Patrick Laganke and Tracy Riordan), the place...everything is absolutely perfect for Katie & myself. There "were" some trials and tribulations with the process (the lot selection, the home selection restrictions, and semi-custom build restrictions). The biggest setback was that Shelby Hooker was dismissed prior to our moving into the home.

Great location. The home is well built. Independent home inspection found minor issues which were corrected immediately by project builder. Additionally, project builder provided a very thorough home orientation. Similarly, the warranty service representative presented a very thorough explanation of what is covered, maintenance and emergency services, and necessary contacts.

David Weekley Homes is as good as it gets. My primary interface with them was through my sales representative, Shelby, and the builder coordinator, Tyler. I have personally bought 3 of the 9 homes I owned as newly built. Never have I had a team more professional than Shelby and Tyler. Additionally I represented several buyers of newly built home in my time as a real estate agent. Shelby and Tyler are at the top of that lis of builers representatives as well.

The attention to detail, the friendliness, the streamlined process we just can’t say enough good things about them. Even though they had many other clients and many other homes under construction at the same time, they always made us feel like we were their only client, were always available if we needed anything, and would move mountains to make sure we were happy. Thank you to Lisa, Chuck, and Jamie for giving us our beautiful home!!

As a buyer, I always felt so valued, respected and heard throughout the entire process - from selecting a lot through closing. From the first conversation, Lisa spoke to us honestly and exemplified integrity in the process. Our builder, Chuck, was always honest and clear about expectations of timeline and repeatedly demonstrated the quality of the David Weekley product. Buying a DW home was always a dream of my mother’s and at 76 years young, Chuck has taken meticulous care and has built her a very beautiful home! His expertise is amazing and he treated us kindly and with the utmost respect. My mom is so in love with her new home, and that’s partially because the process was always communicative and reassuring that it was easy to put our trust in this awesome team - especially when we were located hundreds of miles away from the build. We have already recommended DW builders to family and Lisa welcomed them at first introduction. DW has an INCREDIBLE team in Lisa and Chuck - professional, warm, honest and experts in their fields. We were entirely blessed to work with them and to now consider them like family.

Many thanks and much appreciation to Patrick, our project manager, and Shelby, our sales consultant. Their commitment to making our new house a special place was exceptional. We were long-distance builders, living in Florida and building in North Carolina. That was something we had never done and we were concerned about being absent during the building process. It ended up being the easiest build we have ever experienced and we always buy new construction. And our age, that adds up to a lot of experience, lol! What made David Weekley special and different from other experiences? The David Weekley home site was a great tool for guiding the new homeowner through the building process. It consolidated and organized all the relevant information in one place making it easy to retain, easy to find, and easy to understand. The weekly calls from our project manager and our sales consultant were especially important. It was efficient and informative. It eliminated a lot of back-and-forth e-mail messages and phone calls. It is always the little things that you never forget— Patrick. In our pre-construction meeting, I had prepared an EXCEL workbook with a drawing of every room on a separate worksheet. It was massive. On each worksheet, I included questions and a lighting diagram. I sent it to Patrick before the meeting. I did not expect Patrick to review it before the meeting. I sent it as a reference to be used during the meeting because we were not able to attend the meeting in person. As the meeting progressed, it was obvious to me that not only had Patrick reviewed each worksheet, he had studied them and was fully prepared to answer every question and on several occasions, he offered helpful suggestions. That was both reassuring and impressive, but the little thing he did that I will never forget --- On the worksheet for the kitchen, I had indicated I wanted the kitchen counter lights to be vertical. In the meeting, Patrick, very politely said, “Mrs. Sukkar, I note you have stated you want the kitchen counter outlets to be placed vertically. I thought I recall you saying you wanted them installed horizontally like they are in the model?” I knew then we had an exceptionally qualified project manager! Shelby. In addition to a massive amount of pictures being sent continuously which allowed us to watch the build long distance, Shelby was always quick to respond to questions providing documentation and insight as needed. The little things that Shelby did demonstrated her commitment to her customers --- We did a virtual closing and did not move into the home for several weeks. I received a text one afternoon from Shelby. “I just drove by your home and I noticed you have packages on the porch. Do you want me to pick them up and keep them for you?” I responded that we had arrived home. Her response “Even Better”! It would be my pleasure to recommend David Weekley to my friends!

Your company offered unique size big windows, so much sun light, we love it. #2. Great floor plans, every small space been utilized effectively #3. You have built the home with quality materials #4. I was living in a different state during the home build and the team kept me informed on progress and sent pictures every week. The builder was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The quality of the build was excellent. Even my real estate agent, who does a lot of business in the area, commented on the quality and professionalism of the David Weekley team and construction being a step above a lot of the builders she has worked with.

Chris, Kathleen an virtually everyone we dealt with in the process have been outstanding. Their communication skills and knowledge of the industry is far superior to any others we ever used. They kept us constantly informed on every aspect of the build and simply did an outstanding job ! I’m a retired Senior Commercial Banking Manger with a career spanning 44 years in the industry during which I financed many builders. I can honestly say the entire David Weekly team…especially Chris and Kathleen are the very best i have ever dealt with ! The quality of the home is outstanding and we absolutely love it.

On my own personal experience this is the build that gave me a peace of mind from beginning to finish. Starting with warm greetings and welcome from their staff as soon you walk in at Serenity Community;then providing you with great information about their build and process and answering all questions you have. I have the opportunity and privilege to work with an outstanding and awesome team of 3 very professional people Lisa Hall as sales consultant Chuck Michno as Project Manager Jamie Stewart at design center The communication between this team with me was absolutely amazing, Lisa and Chuck was giving me updates every Friday about everything that was done during the week and what will be the plans for following week. During the whole process on the construction the estimated time of completing the construction phases as they scheduled was always on point . At the design center Jaime was able to answer questions and provide me with great information an ideas and suggestions that help me to choose great options with out going out of my budget. I really appreciate that because I realize their goal wasn’t to push a sale like other builders, her goal was to make sure I will be happy with my selections without breaking the bank. When you meet with the project manager (in my case Chuck michno ) he provides you with a binder where you find all the steps and phases of the construction on an agenda created exclusively for you to keep track and write down any concerns or questions that will help you remember for the next meeting. Everything that David Weekly offer at the time we signed the contract was fulfilled at the time of closing, nothing was pending everything was completed as scheduled or planned. During the build I was able to visit and see the site and noticed that was always clean. I choose to work with one of their lenders and for my surprise I was thrilled that was Mark Wooten at first Home mortgage, I had use before his services on previous mortgages and the transparency, professionalism and excellence is first class .He and his team makes the process very easy and efficient. The communication as well is outstanding. I’m very happy with the whole process and experience of building with David Weekly, All the factors mentioned before allow me to sleep well and have a peace of mind. I will definitely keep you updated once my one year walkthrough comes . Thank you Lisa Hall ,Chuck Michno and Jamie Stewart for everything and be a great addition on building my dream home.

We loved your company staffs, the whole process of construction from starting to closing. Your staffs kept us informed every step of the construction. Here are couple of high lights #1. Your company offered unique size big windows, so much sun light, we love it. #2. Great floor plans, every small space been utilized effectively #3. You have built the home with quality materials #4. You offered plenty of options to choose with reasonable price. #5. 10 foot ceiling downstairs, 9 foot ceiling upstairs, we love it #6. Energy efficiency #7. You offered huge closets and shelves, lot of storage area. And many more to write..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend David Weekley Homes! The whole home building process was great. David Weekley Homes has their act together. Everything was well organized. I was living in a different state during the home build and the team kept me informed on progress and sent pictures every week. The builder was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The quality of the build was excellent. Even my real estate agent, who does a lot of business in the area, commented on the quality and professionalism of the David Weekley team and construction being a step above a lot of the builders she has worked with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever ! My wife and I moved into a David Weekly home in the over 55 community of Encore on 12-15-2023 and could not be happier. Chris, Kathleen an virtually everyone we dealt with in the process have been outstanding. Their communication skills and knowledge of the industry is far superior to any others we ever used. They kept us constantly informed on every aspect of the build and simply did an outstanding job ! I’m a retired Senior Commercial Banking Manger with a career spanning 44 years in the industry during which I financed many builders. I can honestly say the entire David Weekly team…especially Chris and Kathleen are the very best i have ever dealt with ! The quality of the home is outstanding and we absolutely love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of mind On the past 25 years this is my third build 1st was Lennar 2nd Beazer homes and finally David Weekly. On my own personal experience this is the build that gave me a peace of mind from beginning to finish. Starting with warm greetings and welcome from their staff as soon you walk in at Serenity Community;then providing you with great information about their build and process and answering all questions you have. I have the opportunity and privilege to work with an outstanding and awesome team of 3 very professional people Lisa Hall as sales consultant Chuck Michno as Project Manager Jamie Stewart at design center The communication between this team with me was absolutely amazing, Lisa and Chuck was giving me updates every Friday about everything that was done during the week and what will be the plans for following week. During the whole process on the construction the estimated time of completing the construction phases as they scheduled was always on point . At the design center Jaime was able to answer questions and provide me with great information an ideas and suggestions that help me to choose great options with out going out of my budget. I really appreciate that because I realize their goal wasn’t to push a sale like other builders, her goal was to make sure I will be happy with my selections without breaking the bank. When you meet with the project manager (in my case Chuck michno ) he provides you with a binder where you find all the steps and phases of the construction on an agenda created exclusively for you to keep track and write down any concerns or questions that will help you remember for the next meeting. Everything that David Weekly offer at the time we signed the contract was fulfilled at the time of closing, nothing was pending everything was completed as scheduled or planned. During the build I was able to visit and see the site and noticed that was always clean. I choose to work with one of their lenders and for my surprise I was thrilled that was Mark Wooten at first Home mortgage, I had use before his services on previous mortgages and the transparency, professionalism and excellence is first class .He and his team makes the process very easy and efficient. The communication as well is outstanding. I’m very happy with the whole process and experience of building with David Weekly, All the factors mentioned before allow me to sleep well and have a peace of mind. I will definitely keep you updated once my one year walkthrough comes . Thank you Lisa Hall ,Chuck Michno and Jamie Stewart for everything and be a great addition on building my dream home.

This is our second house we have built and the entire experience with the David Weekly team was far more impressive than other builders we have worked with. The quality of the build, the communication and time to finish was better than expected. We would highly recommend working with David Weekly as they exemplify excellence!
