Between the Sales Consultant and the Builder I was kept in the loop of anything and everything on a weekly basis. They answered all 1k questions, never had an attitude, always made me feel welcomed and heard. By far, the best home buying experience and I have owned 3 homes. Magnificent Team.

I can honestly say with this being my second time building a home. The experience with David Weekley was truly awesome! The experience started with Eric W., in which my wife and I felt comfortable and that we were in very good hands from the beginning. Everything he shared with us in the beginning and throughout the process was true in the end. Honesty and integrity is still a very important trait to have. The experience at the design center was informative, seamless and overall wonderful. Our designer was great, she was very helpful and patient with us. And what can I say about Sy our builder, just a down to earth and very knowledgeable builder. Once of the nicest humans I've met. We trusted the Weekley team with purchasing a home site unseen...we are beyond happy with our home and the community of Lakeview.

She quickly learned what we loved and helped us select the perfect choices. Charles was responsive to every question as we built, and has continued to be there for everything we needed since closing. We have built three other houses in the last 20 years, and this experience, by far, has been the absolute best!

Dina always responded to my many questions immediately and believe me, I ask a lot of questions. She was always very professional, very pleasant, and very kind. Dina went above and beyond her duties to ensure we were completely satisfied with our Citadel Home. David Weekley Homes is very fortunate to have a sales representative as professional and pleasant as Dina is. She does not forget about the customer, after they sign the contract for purchasing the home. Benji is a very professional, courteous, and a thorough contractor. I have had three new homes built for me in the past. I have had some good building contractors before, but none has been as exceptional as Benji has been. Even if I had a little problem, or something that I didn’t understand, Benji would respond immediately and resolve my issue. I am elderly, and I am not familiar with the updated new smart homes. Benji helped me with my thermostat and getting my garage door opener to work on my I-phone. I called on Benji with many questions concerning the new smart home, and he was patient with me and explained everything. Like I said, I'm elderly and I'm not familiar with all these new smart features in the home. When our home heated up during the day, and I started sweating from unpacking our boxes, I didn't know how to adjust the new smart thermostat down to cool off. Benji was over in a flash and showed me how to adjust the smart thermostat. I explained to Benji that I was used to the dumb thermostat that said "On", "Off", "Heat", "Cool", and you hit the "Arrow" up or down. Not very many, if anyone would go above and beyond, like Benji does over and over again. I informed Benji my wife was handicapped, and he took it upon himself to make our walk-in-shower wheelchair accessible. He even went above and beyond and had the soap and shampoo niche carved out low so my wife could access the items from her bench. He went above and beyond to put handicapped bars in my walk-in-shower and restroom for my wife. I asked Benji if he could make a ramp for our entry door so Debra could get in and out of the house in her wheelchair. Benji took it upon himself to float the concrete to make a ramp for our entry door. Benji has spoiled me with all his assistance. You usually don’t see that kind of responsibility and work ethics in someone as young as Benji. I hope David Weekley has the wisdom to keep Benji as their home builder contractor for another forty years to come, since he is so young. We love our Citadel Home from David Weekley. The home building process from beginning to end was much more pleasant because of our wonderful sales representative, Dina, and our amazing building contractor, Benji. It's the little things that they do to make you have a wonderful experience. We have lived in our lovely home almost one month now, and I have to give a shout out for Bob, our Warranty guy. He scheduled a date to meet with us at our convenience to explain the warranty for our home in detail. He said, if I ever had any problems with the home, I could email the warranty department, describe my problem, and he would be in contact with me within 24 hours. He also gave me his cell phone number to call direct. One morning, I was taking out the trash and I noticed my left outside garage door lightbulb just went out and the right side of the garage door lightbulb was off. I went into the garage and made sure the light switch was still on. I flickered the light switch on and off a couple times and the lightbulbs were still off. I thought it was too soon for the lightbulbs to be burnt out and I thought I had an electrical short in the wires. I emailed the warranty department and explained my problem. That night, I turned on the light switch for the outside garage door lights and went to see if they were on. Both lightbulbs were on. I then realized that i had a smart home and the light fixtures must have a light sensor on them and when it gets too light, they automatically turn off. I emailed the warranty department immediately and told them I didn't have an electrical short. The next morning Bob called and said he was told I had an electrical short, but it was corrected. He was following up to make sure everything was okay. Like I said, it's the little things that the David Weekley Team does that make buying a David Weekley Home a wonderful and rewarding experience. Great Job, Dina, Benji, and Bob. I have to be really impressed with the employees to write this long of a review. I normally just click on 2 to 4 stars reviews and get on with my day. I would add some photos, but I'm not that good at adding attachments. I usually end up exiting the program by mistake.

Chad Mc Clung and Ron Hicks were absolutely a pleasure to work with. If the time ever comes to build another home I would definitely go with David Weekly again.

Mainly over 600 cracked bricks were used in construction. Builder Luke acted like a friend and gave lots of fake promises to earn 10/10 review and I gave the review before move in so now after I move in, he says he is not responsible. Asking me to show his promises in writing in a rude way. Items he promised: 1, Smooth Patio Flooring 2, Paint and dent fixes after move in He lied to my face that he did not promise. Items that’s not in David weekley standards: 1, Rough Patio flooring with construction marks 2, Ugly looking Front porch without any coating 3, Non rounded stair way becomes a safety issue for children. (Builder says he doesn’t care) 4, Privacy concerns due to the window pillar sizing issue (builder says, he doesn’t care. I need to talk to some dry wall company) 5, Step crack above garage, reported in inspection and he covered with powder which was washed away by rain. Please do not send person with such attitude to our property again. We lost our peace yesterday, Even for the things warranty manager accepts, this guy came with an attitude to deny everything. He said that, “we won’t build perfect homes here at David Weekley”. Hope you understand how bad that attitude was. I need resolution for all the issues, and kindly don’t send that guy again to our property.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my home! I had such a great experience with DWH. The models were a great visual to help pick a home. My sales process was quick and easy. Joe was patient and honest about the any questions I had during the process. During the construction process, he was always reachable and easy to communicate with. My project manager Clay and Joe would call me weekly with updates and would encourage us to visit and be part of the process. I really enjoyed picking our selections to customize our home. Timeline was close to expected and the closing process was easy. We loved the red carpet treatment and gifts we received when we moved in. The neighborhood is fabulous and I'm looking forward to meeting the new future neighbors. Excited to spend many years creating memories here.

Living nearby allowed me to oversee the construction process and progress weekly. David Weekley went overboard to make sure my new home was exactly what we wanted and ahead of schedule.

From day one, Kristi was so incredibly knowledgeable on every facet of our home building process. We came out and visited our homesite almost every weekend. When we met Wesley Arcenaux, my wife and I were equally impressed with his knowledge of home building. Patricia and I would look forward to our weekly photos and phone call from Kristi and Wes. Both of them were always upbeat and almost as excited about our new home as we were. We've been in our home amount 2 months and everyday we walk through the front door is as exciting as the first. Patricia and I have recommended David Weekley Homes to all of our family and friends. When asked, "What makes David Weekley Homes better than the rest" I've responded every time, "It's the people of David Weekley that make the quality of our home and others so great. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for building us the house of our dreams.

Paint overspray and drips on tile, calking that doesn’t fill the corners, bare spots in the yard, and being told the warranty doesn’t cover anything cosmetic. They will only fix what is “structural defective”.

The communication was good, everything seemed to be on time, on task with a few minor weather delays, which caused closing to get pushed back a week. Not a big deal at all. The issues arrived once we moved in. Items that were addressed on our final walk through, that I was told would be fixed by move in day, were in fact not. Broken cabinet trim pieces, an inoperable window in a bedroom, gouged and stained garage floor, amongst a few other blue tape items. Over the course of the next few weeks things eventually were repaired, but it seemed every time we checked something off our list another issue surfaced. About two weeks in, our down stairs bathroom flooded due to shoddy plumbing work (water line was barely threaded on). Because it was a guest bathroom, it was not caught right away until we noticed a puddle under the carpet in the adjoining room. The water seeped from the bathroom, to the bedroom next door, the study on the other side and into the entry way. All flooring, baseboards and bathroom cabinetry has to be ripped out and a restoration company came in with dehumidifiers and fans. Not how you expect to spend your first few weeks in your brand new home. In addition to that it seems every week we find a new window that leaks water inside when it rains. We are now on our 5th window needing repair. One of which we woke up too with a big crack all the way across it. There are a whole host of other issues we have come across, most minor, but they all add up. When you build a brand new home, and spend this much money, you expect it to be turn key. We understand no home is perfect, but I do expect things to be done correctly the first time and with a little pride in the craftsmanship. Attention to detail seems to be lacking. At his point, I have little faith in the house and am just waiting for the next shoe to drop and major issue to arise. I can't say I'd ever recommend David Weekly to any of my friends or family that are looking to build. The one kudo I will give is they have never pushed back on any of the repairs we've asked for and have always addressed them no questions asked. But I accredited that to Danny, our warranty manager more than anyone. He's truly been amazing through all of this.

I loved the fact that they call you each week to tell you what was done that week and what is scheduled for the following week. If there were any issues at all they contact you right away to let you know and they fix it. Every issue that came up during the walk through was addressed in a timely manner. I love the fact that even after closure I am able to ask questions. Lexie and Kyle are amazing. I have loved working with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my home! I had such a great experience with DWH. The models were a great visual to help pick a home. My sales process was quick and easy. Joe was patient and honest about the any questions I had during the process. During the construction process, he was always reachable and easy to communicate with. My project manager Clay and Joe would call me weekly with updates and would encourage us to visit and be part of the process. I really enjoyed picking our selections to customize our home. Timeline was close to expected and the closing process was easy. We loved the red carpet treatment and gifts we received when we moved in. The neighborhood is fabulous and I'm looking forward to meeting the new future neighbors. Excited to spend many years creating memories here.

Buying a home is stressful and always with many decisions to be made along the way. David Weekley made the process less stressful and was there to answer any questions we had along the way. Living nearby allowed me to oversee the construction process and progress weekly. David Weekley went overboard to make sure my new home was exactly what we wanted and ahead of schedule.

From day one, Kristi was so incredibly knowledgeable on every facet of our home building process. We came out and visited our homesite almost every weekend. When we met Wesley Arcenaux, my wife and I were equally impressed with his knowledge of home building. Patricia and I would look forward to our weekly photos and phone call from Kristi and Wes. Both of them were always upbeat and almost as excited about our new home as we were. We've been in our home amount 2 months and everyday we walk through the front door is as exciting as the first. Patricia and I have recommended David Weekley Homes to all of our family and friends. When asked, "What makes David Weekley Homes better than the rest" I've responded every time, "It's the people of David Weekley that make the quality of our home and others so great. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for building us the house of our dreams.

Paint overspray and drips on tile, calking that doesn’t fill the corners, bare spots in the yard, and being told the warranty doesn’t cover anything cosmetic. They will only fix what is “structural defective”.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Never again The build process itself was good. The communication was good, everything seemed to be on time, on task with a few minor weather delays, which caused closing to get pushed back a week. Not a big deal at all. The issues arrived once we moved in. Items that were addressed on our final walk through, that I was told would be fixed by move in day, were in fact not. Broken cabinet trim pieces, an inoperable window in a bedroom, gouged and stained garage floor, amongst a few other blue tape items. Over the course of the next few weeks things eventually were repaired, but it seemed every time we checked something off our list another issue surfaced. About two weeks in, our down stairs bathroom flooded due to shoddy plumbing work (water line was barely threaded on). Because it was a guest bathroom, it was not caught right away until we noticed a puddle under the carpet in the adjoining room. The water seeped from the bathroom, to the bedroom next door, the study on the other side and into the entry way. All flooring, baseboards and bathroom cabinetry has to be ripped out and a restoration company came in with dehumidifiers and fans. Not how you expect to spend your first few weeks in your brand new home. In addition to that it seems every week we find a new window that leaks water inside when it rains. We are now on our 5th window needing repair. One of which we woke up too with a big crack all the way across it. There are a whole host of other issues we have come across, most minor, but they all add up. When you build a brand new home, and spend this much money, you expect it to be turn key. We understand no home is perfect, but I do expect things to be done correctly the first time and with a little pride in the craftsmanship. Attention to detail seems to be lacking. At his point, I have little faith in the house and am just waiting for the next shoe to drop and major issue to arise. I can't say I'd ever recommend David Weekly to any of my friends or family that are looking to build. The one kudo I will give is they have never pushed back on any of the repairs we've asked for and have always addressed them no questions asked. But I accredited that to Danny, our warranty manager more than anyone. He's truly been amazing through all of this.

I loved the fact that they call you each week to tell you what was done that week and what is scheduled for the following week. If there were any issues at all they contact you right away to let you know and they fix it. Every issue that came up during the walk through was addressed in a timely manner. I love the fact that even after closure I am able to ask questions. Lexie and Kyle are amazing. I have loved working with them.
