Rated 5 out of 5 by from We LOVE our new home We just moved into a San Antonio David Weekley home and love it! We never thought we'd ever live in such a fabulous home. It's not only the perfect floor plan with lovely finishes, but more importantly due to the two David Weekley folks we worked extensively with - Liz and Brendan W. Our construction manager Brendan was extremely attentive and responsive to all our questions (and there were loads of them) and to anything unexpected that might came our way. From the moment we toured the model with Liz and put down money on the "dirt", she ensured we were informed and comfortable with the process. Both Liz and Brendan took the time to get to know us and understand what we wanted - sometimes even before we even knew what we wanted ourselves! Since we were building during the peak COVID period (2021), of course there were significant shipping, supplies and tradesmen delays around the globe, so we were very appreciative of the communication and care that Liz and Brendan delivered to us throughout the entire build process. Brendan and Liz became trusted BFFs as they walked us through the purchase, design, build and warranty processes (Thanks Melissa!). Every week we had phone updates and our texts were acknowledged and answered in a timely manner. Even since we closed and moved, they still check on us to ensure we are happy with our new home… and yes, we are! Would we buy another David Weekley home - absolutely!

Our third party inspector never had a home with nothing to report until this home. John worked tirelessly to make sure everything remained on track and was move in ready. Morgan was just amazing in making sure we were up to date on everything and what the next steps were. The final product was beautiful. Even after moving in, John and Morgan provided additional assistance. I highly recommend David Weekly Homes.

Everybody had an unusual kindness due to my personal circumstances. All the small issues pending have been taken care of in a prompt and efficient manner. I have been very pleased during the whole process from start to finish.

With our last minute requests and keeping us abreast throughout the process made us more appreciative. Even starting the process with the warranty crew (Dion and Kevin) this company wants to make sure that they're with us even after we accept the key to our home and there's comfort in that. I would definitely use this builder again and refer to them to others.

So with the weekly pictures and weekly updates was very helpful and very important to us. Morgan did an outstanding job accommodating our every request. Builders David then Dalton have also been very accommodating and helpful. It was and has been a very positive experience!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Home & Location The home building process was challenging due to the pandemic, shortages, supply chain issues, etc however our builder did a remarkable job of keeping things moving & keeping us up to date on delays. At the end of a long build, we have a beautiful home in an area we love which makes it all worthwhile. I do have 2 suggestions that would enhance the process: 1) The build team could be more knowledgeable about some of the newer features offered by the design center. 2) Buyer input on landscaping would be preferable. Everything looks good, but I would have chosen different trees & shrubs if given the option.

A whole host of issues discovered after moving in. For example, 7/11 windows do not open properly, mirrors with defects, oven stopped working after three mins of use, blind in bedroom not installed properly & fell on me, roof & fascia not sealed so now have wasp nest in attic. Thankfully there’s a warranty. At this price point, very disappointing I’ve spent the last three weeks having poor workmanship corrected. It really makes you hope the basic electrical, gas & plumbing was done properly, not to mention the roof for leaks.

From the moment we first met Adam in Sales, we knew the buying experience would go smoothly. Adam is not just a great salesman, but has become a friend in the neighborhood. And Dalton was the most competent, cooperative and communicative builder I could ever imagine. These two made the whole buying experience fun and exciting. It’s our 3rd David Weekley home, so y’all must be doing something right!

Our builder was so responsive, helpful and always available when we had questions. Our sales lady, Lynn, was amazing as well. Would most definitely recommend David Weekley!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality Since we moved in approximately 2 months ago we’ve had multiple significant issues. The HVAC was not operating correctly from day one . It took 6 separate trips from the HVAC company and extensive replacement of ducting and motorized components to repair the system. This required us to be available, by missing work, for the technician to repair a brand new unit. We also had an extensive plumbing leak on an exterior wall. Extensive enough to flood our side yard and our neighbors side yard. That plumbing leak snowballed into drywall and kitchen cabinet repairs. Each requiring separate contractors, separate service visits, and more personal time lost to repairs of a brand new home. We are still waiting for those repairs to be completed. We had wall tile and floor tile grout repairs, bathroom cabinet replacements, carpeting repairs, and plumbing leaks under the kitchen sink. The trim work is probably the most disappointing feature of the home. Especially since this is a very noticeable feature of the home. Most joints line up poorly. They tried hiding poor craftsmanship with caulking, but it only serves to accentuate the deficiencies. I’ve brought these issues up to the warranty manager, who by the way we have never met, and her response is that some “cosmetic” issues are normal. Again, this is all within the first two month. It’s obvious the subcontractors that DW hires don’t care about the quality of their work, and it is becoming increasingly obvious that DW doesn’t either.

The company representatives “held our hand” throughout the whole process by listening to our concerns and addressing them, explaining the process, and informing us of the next steps while the house was being built. They made the entire process less stressful and kept our minds at ease. In essence, they provided great service throughout the building process. We’re very happy with our new David Weekley home!
