Eh...

The home was close to complete when we bought it so I cannot attest to the full experience. The sales person was great & we only met the builder a few times but he was nice... But not super impressed with the work on the home. A TON of cosmetic issues. Bad paint jobs, bad caulking, messed up trim, crooked door handles. Overspray & paint drips everywhere. Paint all over the floor by the baseboards, paint all over the outlets, etc. Missing tiles in the shower, crooked tile work. Crooked kitchen cabinet handles. Paint chipping off the island already after 2 weeks! They literally put sod over garbage, rocks, screws, nails, glass etc. They planted plants that were completely eaten by rabbits & said "oh yeah tons of rabbits here"... So why wouldn't you plant something else? We had to dig up the plants and buy new ones. Every day I see something new that is wrong with the house. I knew it wouldn't be 100% perfect but you can tell the houses are built as fast as possible so they can move on to the next, no care. And these are just the things I can actually SEE, which is a bit concerning... Not sure I would recommend to anyone.

Overall from start to finish the team at Encore Streamside did an outstanding job. They understood your expectations and delivered a home as designed. The key to the building process was the team's outstanding communication throughout each stage of construction.

Dream Home Building/Buying Experience!

This was my first home-buying experience, and the team at David Weekley Homes could not have made the process feel more seamless, reassuring, or enjoyable. Professionally, I spend my days reading between the lines, reviewing data, identifying patterns, and anticipating errors; so I fully expected to be working overtime throughout this process to ensure everything met my standards. Instead, from the very beginning, I felt completely supported and confident in the team. From the moment I met Kim, she was friendly, bubbly, and a true breath of fresh air. She reminded me that this process can actually be fun, something to celebrate and enjoy, not just manage. Jake and his team were equally exceptional. Their dedication to excellence, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness made me feel at home long before I was handed the keys. Jake's knowledge, oversight, and hands-on involvement were especially impressive. By the time my final walkthrough arrived, I came prepare, based on advice from others, to flag multiple issues. Instead, I found a home completed to such a high standard that being "picky" felt more like fine-tuning than problem solving. Any questions or minor items I raised were welcomed, never dismissed, and handled with care. The entire experience felt as though I was purchasing a multi-million dollar home. This team represents David Weekley Homes with true class and professionalism. And after recently meeting April, it's clear this group operates with real synergy. Closing day and Kim picked out the most beautifully curated welcome home package. I cannot recommend David Weekley Homes highly enough. This team exceeded every expectation, and I will confidently recommend them to anyone considering building a home.
