David Weekley Homes team members and guests celebrate the groundbreaking of the builder’s first quick move-in home, The Rubble, in Flying Horse North.

Colorado Springs, CO (June 29, 2026):  David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately held home builders, recently broke ground on its first home, The Rubble, in Flying Horse North, a 1,500-acre master-planned golf course community in Colorado Springs.

The builder will offer only quick move-in homes in the community. Located at 15253 Rubble Drive in the heart of Flying Horse North, The Rubble will feature 4,429 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, three full baths, one half bath and a study.

Located in the Black Forest region of northern Colorado Springs, Flying Horse North features an 18-hole championship golf course designed by golf course architect Phil Smith.
