Multiple builders, beautiful homes, big decision. We were drawn back to David Weekley simply because our interaction with Kristi had been so authentic. She listened to our "must have's" and understood our priorities. The communication with our builder and consultant was just as promised, and more than we expected. Our expectations were high and our team did everything they could to make our dream come true. No home building experience is without challenges. We were blessed with a sales consultant that was by our side every step of the way, responsive, proactive, accountable and compassionate. The builder that finished our home has become a friendly face that we love running across in the neighborhood. He checks in on our home and genuinely cares. David Weekley Homes has processes in place from start to finish and beyond. We knew we were buying with a reputable company, what we didn't know was how intentional and far reaching DWH went from the original contract, through the build, move in and beyond. The special touches Kristi sprinkled throughout the process and at move in, made my heart smile. Kudos to Ashley (sales), Mike(construction manager) and Scott (warranty). They would respond my emails, texts or calls right away and very customer service oriented. Thumbs up to all of them.

My wife and I first visited the neighborhood several years prior but were not ready to purchase in Florida at the time. After making the decision to relocate to FloridaI flew from Colorado in late December 2019. Josiah had listened carefully and had multiple lots for me to look at during my short visit. I found the perfect lot from the ones Josiah showed me and prior to returning to Colorado I signed a deal with Josiah. The process was fairly simple and Josiah was thorough and helpful offering and explaining structural options. In about a month my wife and I flew back for our design center appointment with Elysa. We had two days set up to go through all our options. The David Weekley buyers site made our appointment much easier because you can check out options and pricing there which allowed us to make a detailed list prior. The site also allowed us to upload photos of some of our design likes and ideas which gave Elysa an idea of our style. The options available were outstanding, more so than three other builders I had built with previously. The process was fun and exciting and not overwhelming thanks to the site and Elysa professional assistance. Within a short time my wife and I had a video introduction meeting with our senior builder Austin. We went over the build process and confirmed structural, electrical and plumbing options we chose. Not long after the meeting construction started and both Josiah and Austin kept us updated with weekly meetings and pictures of the progress. Shortly after construction began COVID 19 and the effects on new home supplies started appearing in the news. Austin kept us informed throughout ensuring there would be no delays in construction. There were only two issues with materials and our design center choices but both turned out to be good. First Elysa informed us the interior doors we chose were on back order and would not be available in a reasonable amount of time. This was good for us as we were second guessing our selection anyway. The second was with glass tile for one of the showers and Elysa gave us similar options to include one a grade above what we chose at no extra cost. We were also not able to attend the pre drywall meeting due to COVID and flights, something I really did not like but between Austin and our realtor Amy Kidwell we were able to do a two hour video walk through and we even were able to record it for future knowledge of framing, plumbing and electrical routing that is always useful to have. We arrived town in early July a couple of months prior to closing. The construction was still on track. This being our fourth build we know the process and things to look for during construction including things builders miss all the time. We did a walk through and made a list of any concerns which was not very long. We then met with Austin and found that he had already made a list as well and captured everything on ours a first in my experience. We closed on time and have had only minor warranty items since move in. Our warranty representative, Scott has been very good and even inspected the house prior to closing to ensure typical warranty items found after we’re dealt with prior to closing. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the entire David Weekley team and definitely feel this was the best build experience I have had. This includes my semi-custom Toll Brothers house I owned prior. I would definitely build with David Weekley again but don’t think I will have to as this is our retirement home. I would and will recommend David Weekley in the future to family and friends in the market for a new home. I want to thank Josiah, Ashley, Elysa, Austin and Scott for the awesome team work and professionalism!!

The office staff was very friendly, nice and easy to talk to. Our agent Ashley was pretty amazing always answering our questions even after hours. As for the process of the build itself there was several bumps in the build. There wasn't a lot of attention to detail even with the "268 point inspection" they say they do before it can go to closing. Austin and I didn't catch a lot of these things prior to the closing so we are working on getting that all fixed now that we have moved in to our home. Its a little annoying that we have different people in our home all the time but it is what it is. Scott in the warranty department is awesome, he has been on top of all the repairs that the home needs. We know that some things take time because of the shipping issues all companies are having and of course the Cover but he sends me texts and emails letting me know who is coming out and when and if things are in a waiting freeze for parts. If we could do it all over again we would still move forward but now we know what to look for and what to pay attention too.

They keep kept us up to date with photos and weekly phone calls. They even worked with our realtor when he came and did meetings for us. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. This is the first time we have built a home and the experience was a blessing. We love our new home and our new neighborhood. We would highly recommend David weekly homes to anyone.
