Ratings & Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review again a good experience however for us, the design/build process took way too long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Experience We purchased our first home and it was new construction as well. Being new to the process, the David Weekley team made us feel so comfortable. We were informed weekly throughout the whole building process with both phone calls and pictures on our website. Stephen Moore and Mac Calhoun really made the experience wonderful for us and we couldn’t be more happy with our new home.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap and lots of stress While my home overall looks great and we are happy its done, the road to get here was arduous. For starters, turn knob dishwasher and wire shelving come standard in a half million dollar home? Makes the company come off as very cheap. Furthermore when we asked for a credit for the wireshelving that we didn't want, we were told its not possible. Even though that money would have just went towards design. Made David weekley seem very greedy and cheap. Then while building, things kept getting done to our house without our approval or checking with us. At design we selected a larger bathtub. Turns out it was not supposed to be an option for our floor plan. No one told us, they just changed it and installed the normal tub. We requested an outlet be put in the master bathroom between the two sinks. The outlet wasn't centered. When we questioned this we were told that they didn't realize the outlet had to be centered. There were other things as well. Overall everything was fixed eventually. But the whole process was very stressful and little things like centering outlets or making them straight shouldn't be on me to point out. Working with Jamie was great. He was very attentive. If not for him we may have walked away from this sale honestly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Failure to follow through What I can tell of David Weekley homes is at this point I wouldn’t refer anyone I know to purchase one. The only thing that has been consistent is the inconsistency and failure to follow through by the people overseeing the repair of the poor quality and lack of craftsmanship in my new house. I have had it written in a contract that before closing these repairs would be fixed and they weren’t. I was told after moving in it would be done. Then a third time I was told it would be repaired. My father stayed at home the entire day waiting for the person that was coming to look at my stairs to repair the poor work done on the landing. This person apparently is like a unicorn because we have yet to see him. There is already cracking I my grout, the work and painting on the stair case is terrible. Yet nothing has been addressed.
