Rated 5 out of 5 by from My DWH We had been searching for a new home for almost 2 years and when we saw our home, we knew it was the right floor plan and location for us. The home was already built but the DW agent went out of her way to help us with additional walkthroughs and how to get the most out of our purchase. David Weekly builder was very helpful too and resolved all items before we moved in. Thanks to Lauren and Drew!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New to North Carolina Moving from California to North Carolina was a dramatic change for us, although my wife and I have lived in several other states. When we moved here, we always thought we’d purchase a previously owned home, but upon seeing the style of home and the community of this David Weekly home (Encore Community), we were sold. Although since we’d never built a home, we were a little apprehensive of the process, but once we committed, the DW sales staff, design counselors, and construction manager put us at ease and communicated with us during each phase. Each of these three different areas were very detailed, answered all our questions. All in all, I would have to say that I would recommend a DW home & their purchasing and construction process.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No fun! My home building experience did not go as well as I expected. I have had a lot of experience in building but but it has always been custom...I have never done a mass market build. I found it to be extremely restrictive which took the fun away. The sales associate Amy and the builder Cory tried extremely hard to relieve my frustrations and to make me happy. I truly appreciate all their efforts and understand their hands were tied at times. The design center left me cold with its minimal choices, lack of suggestions for creative solutions and incorrect information. I feel there are many things they could have been done better. This is a 55+ community so you are selling to a more educated home buying demographic than a first time buyer. You are also selling to an older person so the basic house should be ADA compliant ... (pantry door too narrow...toilets too low ...light switches too high.. shower has a lip and no grab bar etc.) When working with older people realize their concentration and memory is shorter and it is harder to make decisions. The design center person should give them homework so they have time to think about it and come prepared....this can be done over the phone before the first session. Over all I think it is a well built house, the builder and the Sales Associate couldn't have been nicer but It was not a fun experience...mass building is not for me and I would not do it again. 5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes you feel like a kid again Remember when growing up how your house felt so big? Spacious? And because of your parents hard work, it always looked good/new? Well, our new house feels like that, and all that’s left is some relatively easy work keeping it as good as new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our new home and neigborhood! Our previous home (20years) was highly customized and fairly large (nearly7,000 sq. ft.) so we expected that buying a production home and downsizing to just over 2,400 sq. ft. might be challenging. . Amy (DWH agent), Jamie ( DWH Design Center) and Brad (DWH builder) did a great job guiding us through all aspects of the planning and building process. We were well informed along the way, and there were few "surprises". If we had questions or issues they were promptly addressed. The downsizing related decluttering was somewhat impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, and our efforts to eliminate all the "stuff" continues on! We are pleased with our home, our neighbors and friendliness of the neighborhood, and are looking to get fully settled into the Encore lifestyle

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Encore at Briar Chapel We could not have had a better buying & building experience than we have had with David Weekley Homes. From Amy Slone, our sales consultant, to Monica at the Design Center, to Cory Capell, our builder, to everyone involved in any way, we experienced the most kind, caring, delightful, helpful, knowledgeable, professional excellence possible. Every person seemed intent on making certain that we were comfortable in the process and completely satisfied with the results. Our gratitude to these wonderful people at DWHomes, Encore, is endless.
