Even with the delay in flooring that we had they went above and beyond to help us and to make us happy. Even after closing they have answered questions and helped when Ron was unavailable (on a Saturday). We highly recommend David Weekly to anyone.

I am happy to say I have no idea what they are talking about! I can not say enough about the Dream Team I had building our Dream Home. Diane Walker, our awesome Sales woman, and Todd Weaver, our amazing Contractor made the whole process not only easy and stress free, but fun and exciting as well. They had our backs through the whole process going above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our home was just right. They told us how David Weekley encourage their homeowners to make the home build a personalized, memorable experience and so we did! The magic started when we first picked out our lot and found out our house number was the same number that my husband's late father had for his NY State Trooper badge number. The number holds very significant meaning in our family and seeing that was our new address confirmed we were in the right place. Next, we decided to fill the house with positive and loving energy from the inside out, so when we got to the pre-drywall stage, my husband and I went around the home tacking up family and symbolic pictures and took Sharpies and wrote positive affirmations along the beams. They now live in the very walls of our home! Lastly, before the concrete was poured for the front walk leading up to our home, my husband and I (with Diane and Todd there to share the experience) buried the top tier of our wedding cake that we had had stores in our freezer for the past 22 years! When the time came to walk into our completed house for the first time, with the red carpet leading up to our front door decorated with a bow it brought tears to my eyes. We are so excited and proud to live in our beautiful new home and feel so blessed for the fun and memorable experience we had along the way!

Our sales consultant Gary, our designer Jackie and our builder Travis, all were great. Even when we felt we weren’t being heard, the opposite was true, we were heard and our expectations were exceeded. We are truly satisfied with our new home and look forward to years in our home.

There are a few things that I feel could have been communicated better during the build process, and some work that should have been done better. There are fixtures that are crooked, tiles and such that are not flat and even. Communication with Weekley employees and contractors is absolutely awful, this starts with the project manager and continues to the warranty personnel. Getting people in to do repairs takes weeks to months because nobody will work around your schedule - even though you bought the home and they f'd it up to begin with. Cut corners on many areas, even LIGHT BULBS! bulk buy for standard LED light bulbs would be <$1/bulb and they fill the homes up with energy sucking incandescents. There are certain things (square recessed cans) that don't sit flush with the ceiling and they just leave it saying it's the best they can do. They left holes in the ceiling by our pendant lamps, we even found a fixture in the bathroom without a covering on it. They need to re-evaluate their closing system in terms of early repairs etc. Make it so that someone on THEIR end comes and does a 1 month, 3 mo and/or 6 mo inspection to make sure THEIR work and materials lives up to expectations. Give us better communication on the watering system and what we should expect with the HOA process. Give us better information on security and pest companies and maybe let the homeowner approve of the company. We switched security companies and saved a ton of money!! I got emails constantly about sharing my story but I'm glad I waited a few months becuase as each day passes we see more and more things that could have been better done. Again, the employees are great pre-closing and we are extrememly happy with the house just wish some things were done with better workmanship and the communication was better after closing.
