Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great process start to finish. Buying a home is never an easy process. We've done it many times over the years so we know first hand. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic and global supply chain disruptions our experience with David Weekley was by far the best. From the initial contracting process where everything was explained, through the design center experience, to the regular updates on construction, all of our expectations were exceeded. I would not hesitate to recommend David Weekley to anyone considering the purchase of a new home.

In this current housing and supply chain market, it might take longer than normal, but David Weekly makes it well worth it! We were kept up to date along the entire process - good news or "not so good" news, we were "in the KNOW". The team that we worked with starting with Art in Sales and throughout the design phase and construction (Beth, Eric, and Brendan), everyone was invested with us and really cared about helping us build the home of our dreams!

Everyone involved from start to finish was beyond pleasant and worked hard to keep up updated every step of the way. We started the process mid pandemic, when shortages, and delays created horror stories about building and home buying, but we truly had a wonderful experience. We never questioned the quality and living it our new home now we know the quality is amazing! Tammy was such a pleasure to work with, she updated us with photos every step of the way, was always quick to respond to our questions, and truly took an interest in our story and made us feel at home long before our home was completed. Our personal builder Christian was equally as pleasant and helpful with our many new homeowner questions. My father works in home construction and even he was blown away by the lengths the David Weekley team went to to keep us involved and updated. If you are in the market for a home, we couldn’t recommend David Weekley more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exciting New Home After looking at houses in Phoenix and Dallas, we chose David Weekley Homes in Avondale, AZ. Three floorplans were of interest to us, but we were impressed with the Madrean's open kitchen, family room, and dining room layout. The kitchen is a cook's dream - very spacious with useful options (pot filler, large drawers under the cooktop, giant pantry, and massive island). The four car garage provides extra space for a workshop with room for creating great projects. The building process took just over a year, pretty much the standard timeframe in the current market. Our builder team, Bre and Kyle, were great with communications. We met with them weekly to discuss the current status of the building process. With all the current supply chain issues going on these days (materials, labor), it's important to communicate openly and ensure no surprises. While we would have loved to move into our new home the day we signed the contract, the resulting home is certainly worth the wait. Being local to the area, we were able to visit the property frequently and keep up to date with the construction progress. David Weekley hosts a new resident social event about once per quarter, for those who've already moved in and those who are waiting for their home to be completed. We've had the opportunity to meet many of our new neighbors and form friendships before we even moved in. These events are a great idea that helps build a community of neighbors who know each other and interact regularly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We’re in! It was a year in the making but, we’re finally in our new home. All along the process Bre and Russ kept us informed through each phase of our home build. They answered all of our questions and went out of their way to address every issue that we expressed. We were aware of the amount of time it would take to complete our new home considering the supply and labor issues early on. We enjoyed attending the various events that David Weekley put on during our wait, it made us feel like we were already a part of the community. We got to meet many of our new neighbors before we moved in. We are so happy to be in our new home. Thank you David Weekley!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn’t be more satisfied! Where do I begin? From start to finish and even thereafter! I’ve felt valued, I felt like the entire process was honest, cared for and also so much fun! My builder rep, Deb Holzmeister was an absolute gem! She communicated, we never felt out of the loop, and you can see how much she cares for her clients but also for David Weekley! She was positive the entire process and her energy along the process was contagious! Paul Olsen, our builder was also fantastic to work with! His energy was also contagious! He never settled. He makes it a point to make sure you’re satisfied! Another person who deserves recognition is the warranty rep, Gerald! He too was great to work with! The entire David Weekley staff that we encountered was phenomenal. The house is the cherry on top! Very well thought out floorplans! And quality builds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just amazing! From beginning till the 14 month end both Brenda and Jim were on it and never ever gave us reason for concern. They have become like family since we watched the progress of the house and would see them through many, many, many weeks. Even when my husband and I could have ripped our head out at times because of the wait, they were there to put us at ease. The home build was just unbelievably built and they made accommodations for extra plumbing etc. I thought my experience with Cal Atlantic was great. There is no comparison. The David Weekly home is at the top as far as we are concerned. I would tell anyone to buy a home from you! Well done! And the pictures they took time to take was a great touch and give us excitement.
