David Weekley Homes Breaks Ground on New Model Home in Beacon Point
Houston, TX (July 18, 2025): David Weekley Homes, one of the largest privately held national home builders, recently broke ground on their newest model, The Myrtle, in the 273-acre Texas City, TX, community of Beacon Point.
In Beacon Point, buyers will be able to select from 10 floor plans situated on 50-foot homesites, ranging in size from approximately 1,910 to 3,190 square feet of living space with three to five bedrooms, two to four full baths, one half bath and two- to three-car garages.
The upcoming two-story model home, The Myrtle, will showcase four bedrooms, three full baths, a two-car garage, media room, study and covered patio.
Residents in Beacon Point will have access to community amenities, including a 3.3-acre community center with a clubhouse, pool, splashpad, playground, pickleball court and dog park. The community will feature lakes with surrounding walking trails and waterfront homesites. Residents will have also easy access to I-45. Students within the community will attend Dickinson ISD schools.
