David Weekley Homes Breaks Ground on New Model Home in Legacy
Houston, TX (August 13, 2025): David Weekley Homes, one of the largest privately held national home builders, recently broke ground on their newest model home, The Aspen, in the upcoming master-planned community of Legacy in League City, TX.
In Legacy, buyers will be able to select from a variety of one- and two-story floor plans featuring energy-efficient conditioned attics, situated on 50-foot homesites. The homes will range in size from approximately 1,900 to 2,700 square feet of living space with three to five bedrooms, two to four full baths, one half bath, and two- to three-car garages.
The upcoming model home, The Aspen, will showcase 2,450 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and a two-car garage. The model is expected to open in September.
Residents in Legacy will soon be able to enjoy community amenities, including a resort-style pool, playgrounds, dog park, 22 acres of parks with direct access to a 26-mile trail system in League City, 108 acres of lakes with boat docks, The Chute kayak launch and pier overlook, boat dock with beach entry, and Homestead, featuring an event lawn, fitness- and leisure-style pools, and sport courts. Students within the community will attend Clear Creek ISD schools, including a future on-site elementary school.
