David Weekley Homes Expands Tampa Presence with Land Acquisition in Pasco County  

Tampa, FL (July 15, 2026): David Weekley Homes, one of the nation’s largest privately held home builders, has acquired 156 homesites in the future master-planned community of Verona in central Pasco County. Home sales are expected to begin in summer 2027. 

Led by Eisenhower Property Group and located along State Road 52 in Land O’Lakes, this 1,500-acre master-planned community will feature approximately 2,500 homes from multiple builders.

Verona marks the first land deal between Eisenhower Property Group and David Weekley Homes. Weekley will build 156 single-family homes on 50 40-foot homesites, 62 50-foot homesites and 44 60-foot homesites.

The development is part of a larger 3,500-acre property. Approximately 2,000 acres will remain open space, agricultural land or recreational areas under a restrictive covenant with Pasco County.

Amenities in Verona are expected to include a clubhouse, fitness center, resort-style pool, pickleball courts, playgrounds, a paw park, picnic areas and a network of trails. The community will also be close to Publix, a golf course, dining, shopping and entertainment in Wesley Chapel, and major transportation corridors including I-75. Residents will also have convenient access to major employment centers in downtown Tampa.
