Raleigh, NC (August 12, 2014) – Just in time for the new school year, David Weekley Homes has collected $4,000 for Chatham and Wake County schools. The two-time National Builder of the Year by Professional Builder magazine partnered with The Salvation Army to host a back-to-school drive for Chatham and Wake County students.
Backpacks, pencils, crayons, graphic calculators, flash drives and paper were just a few of the essentials donated during the month-long drive. Several of our vendors also made check donations to help purchase other items needed for a successful academic year. The David Weekley Family Foundation matched the cash value of the donations, up to $1,000 for each county, for a total donation of $6,000.
The most important aspect of David Weekley Homes isn’t home building, it’s Our Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives. As a company, we want to make a positive impact in the lives of everyone we touch and in all the communities we build.
