DENVER, CO (May 26, 2015): David Weekley Homes team members in Denver are partnering with HomeAid Colorado to collect essentials for families struggling to care for the basic needs of their children. The company invites the community to support the children of the Denver area by donating diapers, baby wipes and baby formula. All items must be in the original packaging.
Those interested in making donations may drop off items at these David Weekley model homes between now and June 21:
The model homes are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sundays and Mondays noon – 6 p.m.
All items will be donated to HomeAid Colorado, an organization that builds housing for homeless families and individuals. HomeAid Colorado will then distribute items to local nonprofit organizations serving homeless families and young children.
David Weekley Homes strives to make a positive impact in all the communities it builds in. This is accomplished by company team members volunteering countless hours to different organizations in their communities and by the Weekley Family Foundation donating more than $100 million to a variety of organizations through the U.S. and abroad since 1976.
