Lake Wylie, SC (July 9, 2013): David Weekley Homes recently hosted a ceremonial ribbon cutting in the Lake Wylie, SC, community of The Cottages at The Landing to christen the opening of their new model home, The Gilchrist.
The event on June 27 was held in conjunction with the Lake Wylie Chamber of Commerce. The community will feature 25 homesites, with six unique floor plans ranging from 1,654 to 2,595 square feet and prices from the low $200s. Each home will be situated on a 55-foot-wide homesite with an alley-accessible, two-car garage and downstairs Owner’s Retreat.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Weekley’s fully furnished, two-story model, The Gilchrist. This versatile floor plan offers three or four bedrooms, two or three full baths, a half bath, a study and a retreat space.
Weekley broke ground in The Cottages at The Landing in April and will complete three showcase homes in upcoming months. The Cottages at The Landing boasts a location convenient to medical centers, shopping, dining, Lake Wylie and a host of nearby parks. The centrally-located community also features easy access to Belmont, Gastonia, Charlotte, Fort Mill and Rock Hill.
