by David Weekley Homes

David Weekley Homes is proud to announce that Seven Lakes High School has been ranked among the top 3% of public high school in the nation, according to the 2010 “America’s Best High School” report by Newsweek Magazine. Seven Lakes High School ranked 689, which put it among the top 2.5% in the nation! Just over 1,600 of the nation’s 27,000 high schools – or about 6 percent – made the cut for the Newsweek list, which picks the best high schools in the country based on how hard school staffs work to challenge students with advanced-placement college-level courses and tests.

Newsweek Magazine compiled this list by taking the total number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Cambridge (AICE) tests given at a school each year, then divided that number by the number of graduating seniors each spring. Since 1998, Newsweek has collected this data in conjunction with the Washington Post.
