Bad experience post closing

Home buying process was excellent but post closing experience has been poor.

Above and beyond!

The attention to detail is beyond anyone's reasonable expectations. Sue Connor and Cy were amazing, the entire staff goes the extra mile, and keep you fully informed every step of the way. Home quality is above that of other local builders. Great job guys!

Excellent Customer Experience

I have already recommended David Weekley Homes to a family member, who has since purchased a home and is currently in the building process. That alone speaks volumes about the confidence and trust my wife and I have in this company and the experience we received. From day one, Shawna was extremely professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to understanding our needs. Relocating from Maryland to Texas was a major life transition for my wife and me, and Shawna made the process seamless from the very beginning. She took the time to listen carefully, remained open-minded throughout the search process, and ultimately helped us find the perfect David Weekley home that aligned with our goals, lifestyle, and vision. Great Home Buying/Building Experience

Great home buying/building experience! From sales, design and construction everyone was great. The people we worked with were all friendly, professional and flexible. I would recommend David Weekly to anyone who may be building a new home. They are experienced and provide a quality product. Thanks to the David Weekly team for making our experience a great one!

Best builder we have ever worked with

We decided to buy a DW home based on our past experience. Every part of the experience was great (except the waiting). They have a great process set up, they are very communicative, and verify choices multiple to make sure what they order is what we wanted, and called every week to update us on the progress once construction started on the house. Even closing was quick, and seamless. The person assigned to be our contact for warranty work was also great. He even helped adjust our fridge that Lowe's installers did a horrible job of. They always go above and beyond. We moved in a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't be happier!

The Worst Construction Ever!

This is the worst home I have every purchased, by far. And, I've owned more than 20 homes. My cement driveway on closing is permanently damaged and Weekley Homes has not replaced it. They power washed it and nothing changed. My laundry room smells like a sewer. My dishwasher never worked and Frigidaire never answered the phone after weeks of trying, to get it fixed. I had to replace it. The baseboards are corregated cardboard. The interior paint job is not satin paint and doesn't wipe off. The basement does not have a subfloor. They put down some kind of yellow mat with strings in it. The floor is 35-40 degrees or less at all times. The basement is freezing, and at least 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house. The water softener I purchased through Weekley didn't work. I had to hire another company to fix it. The stairs in the garage had holes in them. My garage door sounds like a ship blowing it's horn coming into port, and the list goes on and on. Lousy, absoultely lousy build job.
