David Weekley provides a home, not just a house

1st Class Experience! Regardless of our budget, we made to feel like the most important client. We were dealt with so overly fairly and Shawna made sure to work to find us the home for our budget. She was tireless in keeping in communication with us as well. In closing day, she went above and beyond for our welcome home on the first day!!! Make sure you use Brenda at Grace Home Mortgage! They work with David Weekley and make things so easy during the purchase and mortgage process!

Fantastic BOYL Experience with David Weekley Homes

Great BOYL experience! Mike Olfers in Sales was amazing! He was able to take every request/detail we asked for and create a floor plan that was perfect for us. Ron Hicks was the best contractor EVER. He kept us up to date on everything that was going on with the build process. Any question we asked his response was " I will make that happen!" He even stopped by to check on us after we signed off on everything.

The initial followup was good but post handover, we keep running into toilets clogging and we were told that it is due to some utilities company cutting a pipe but I doubt that. They are redoing all that and it is a big hassle for our tenant to not have bathrooms to use. Quite disappointed with this experience

We were very amazed at the attention we got from day one. Everyone from sales to on the site were on top of the game. That allowed us to focus on our moving experience.All is great with our satisfaction.

Wonderful Experience.

We built our home while living in another state. Our Project Manager, James Boone and Sales Rep, Beverly Bradley stayed in close contact with us throughout the process. James handled everything superbly and communicated often. This is our 5th house to build but first with David Weekley. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend their company

2nd Time - Definitely the Charm with David Weekley

After having a horrible experience during our 1st forever home build 23 years ago with another builder, we were very cautious and did our research on who we entrusted to build our 2nd (and last) forever home. We probably met with a dozen or so builders representing new developing communities throughout the N.W. Houston area before making our decision to go with DW. Our first meeting was with Amore Onyung (DW Sales Consultant) at another DW development. After taking the time to get to know us and our needs (main need was building on a lake) she referred us to Renee Eggen (DW Sales Consultant) over at The Grand Prairie. From the first time we spoke to Renee, she took the time to listen and understand not only our wants, but our fears about building another home due to our past experience. Throughout the process of selecting lot, home model and amenities, Renee was always patient and professional in the way she treated us. We felt comfortable enough with Renee to have candid discussions about our expectations and concerns over the building process, and even the service after the build. Renee sometimes had to tell us what we wanted was not doable - which we appreciated in the end due to every commitment Renee made to us came to fruition with no surprises. Once we decided on our lot (which btw is on a lake), home model and selected all the options needed to finalize the build and get pre-financing approved. . .we were introduced to our builder, Eric Foster. We let Eric know from the get-go about the nightmare we lived through on our first home build and to him insight to our heightened OCD when it came to our upcoming build. In every step of the building process Eric over communicated and was empathic to our concerns. He was always responsive (even during weekends and after business hours) to many of our "dumb" questions throughout the project, as we were at the build site almost daily. Our only request of Eric was not to build the perfect house, but to build it right. . .thus far, after living in our new home coming up on a month, we feel Eric and his team of subcontractors did build our home the right way. We even invested in a 3rd party engineering firm to do pre-drywall and final build inspections. Both inspections came back with only minor "issues" most of which were going to be handled at later phases of the build. The fourth leg of the DW team that has made our DW experience great is being introduced to Scott Hajowsky, our Warranty Service Manager. Scott went over all details and processes to insure if we needed anything repaired/fixed post-build he was our guy. Thus far, we only needed one item taken care of, and Scott made it happen within a week of us notifying him. Bottom line, both my wife and I are ecstatic about the process and people who made our journey to build our 2nd forever home as stress free as possible. The open communication and transparency from all DW team members throughout the process, and their willingness to make things right - even after closing. . .is why we are giving the DW team 5 stars and allowing them to use us as a reference.
