Above and Beyond

My husband and I had an amazing experience building our first home with David Weekley Homes! The entire process was enjoyable, and we couldn't have asked for a better team to guide us through such an important milestone in our lives. They walked us through every step of the process, kept us informed throughout the development of our growing community, and made sure we always felt supported and confident in our decisions. A special shout-out to Coleen, Edie, and Bill for their outstanding dedication, communication, and care. They truly went above and beyond to make this experience special for us, and we are so grateful for all their hard work. Building our first home was a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely recommend David Weekley Homes to anyone looking to build their dream home!

Great Customer Service

The home buying and building was great. Erin and Jordan were great to work with. They delivered on all commitments and were always available to answer questions. These two work well together and have a real desire to provide excellent customer service. Having been a customer service executive for several years I know what excellent customer service looks like. Erin and Jordan are both great representatives of your company and bring a real can-do attitude to their job.

Overall good experience. While there were some problems at the walkthrough prior to closing, anything significant was then fixed, either before or shortly after closing. The team did a good job checking in throughout the first few weeks with fixing issues and ensuring I was aware of the warranties and other information about the townhome. Only complaints were 1. that it was not brought up that the driveway would not be long enough to park a car in. It seems to me that that is a standard assumption and expectation when owning a driveway, so I think it ought to be specified if something like that will not be the case, rather than being surprised once built and purchased. And 2. the delays, from June-ish closing to August, causing multiple more credit checks and higher interest rates. I know you can't control the weather or ICE, but while a couple weeks is totally expected, 3 months turning into 5 was surprising, and it did cause some hassle and impacts to my planning and costs when moving to Jacksonville back in June.

Great Experience

My homebuying experience with David Weekley was smooth. Stephen (Sales) and my Realtor, Stacy Y. Smith at Small Real Estate Group, worked very well together which made it especially easy for me considering I was purchasing from out of state. Stephen called me about every week to see if I needed anything and provided reminders. Since closing and moving in, the entire team: Kasy (builder), Terry (warranty manager), and Stephen have been amazing and super helpful to make my transition a good experience.

Ivyglen build is amazing

The building process was very easy and well thought out. We were always aware of what stage we were at during the building process. Everything was documented very well with photos, emails and weekly calls with the builder. The final product was a beautiful home that is very efficient.

Three Outstanding Employees

Our experience with David Weekley Homes was defined by the very professional and highly responsive work of Matt Guerrero, our Builder, Lisa Lepp, our Designer, and Alison Dinch, our Sales Coordinator. All three were a pleasure to work with and we feel like we received their best with each interaction. We realize they are juggling many new home projects simultaneously, but they made us feel like our project was the most important one they were working on every time we talked or met. David Weekley Homes is lucky to have all three of them!
