CAREing for and Feeding Our Communities

Houston, TX (January 21, 2025): In Q4, our Teams at David Weekley Homes made our 10th annual Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive a success! We supported 19 nonprofits who help provide food to those in need.

During our Thanksgiving Drive, 1,124 Team Members volunteered more than 1,300 hours. In addition to the donation of time, we raised more than $172,000, which will provide more than 250,000 meals.

Dovetail Impact Foundation contributed more than $159,000 in grants to support the organizations we gave back to during the Thanksgiving Drive.

The Team in Denver donated $2,500 to House of Neighborly Service.

“We are so incredibly grateful for David Weekley Homes’ Thanksgiving drive,” said Annie Hummel, Community Relations Coordinator of House of Neighborly Service: Colorado. “With your generosity, we were able to provide families in need with a Thanksgiving meal. We are so incredibly blessed that your company cares so much about making an impact in the community.”

In addition to our Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive, we supported our communities through a variety of CARE projects in Q4. Team Members completed home repairs, ran 5Ks, constructed a play cottage, collected holiday gifts, wrapped presents, made snack bags, and sorted books to help those in need.
