CAREing for Local Students in Q3

Houston, TX (October 9, 2025): In Q3, the David Weekley Homes Team wrapped up our eleventh annual School Supplies Drive at the top of the class.

Thanks to the astounding support from our Team Members, Homeowners, Real Estate Agents and Trade Partners across the country, we were able to donate more than $186,000 in supplies to 20 nonprofit organizations and schools, and Dovetail Impact Foundation gave more than $123,500 in grants. These materials and donations went to benefit over 14,000 students and teachers across the country with materials to prepare them for a bright school year.

HST and the Houston Division teamed up and raised $7,117 to support Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star.

“Teachers can request supplies from the donations we collect and receive them, free of charge, to help make up supply shortages,” Executive Director of Investing In Kids (INK!) St. Johns, Cathy Newman said. “INK! is extremely fortunate to have such dedicated community partners like David Weekley Homes – each year we’ve been able to help more teachers and students.”

In addition to our School Supplies Drive, our Team Members across the country showed that CAREing truly runs in the family through a series of charitable efforts that made a lasting impact in their communities. In Austin, Team Members and their families participated in the 9/11 Heroes Run benefiting the Travis Manion Foundation and partnered with Made to Serve to prep and pack 174 meals for those experiencing homelessness. They also served 192 guests at the Caritas of Austin community kitchen with HomeAid.

In Dallas/Ft. Worth, interns joined the Rise Against Hunger 24-Hour Pack-a-Thon, while others tackled maintenance projects and donated interview apparel to The Samaritan. Our Portland Team Members hit the pavement for the Northwest Kidney Kids “Strut Your Kidney” 5K, raising funds and awareness for juvenile kidney disease. And in Tampa, Team Members packed 624 meals for the 9/11 Day of Service at the Yuengling Center, proving once again that Weekley’s commitment to CARE is as strong as ever.

Thank you to everyone who donated their time and efforts to help extend Our Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives beyond the company – and into our communities – as we continue to make a difference in the lives of others!
