Houston, TX (July 10, 2025): Our Teams at David Weekley Homes rose to the challenge of living out Our Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives in Q2! We completed a successful Build Month, as well as a number of other CARE projects.

This May, we hosted our annual Build Month, in which Team Members volunteer their time to build items like beds, outdoor playsets and more for nonprofits across the country. This year, Team Members enhanced 5,600 lives across the country with their hard work and construction expertise. Sixteen divisions volunteered more than 6,815 hours with a variety of local foundations including Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the Roc Solid Foundation, Rocky Mountain Village, HomeAid Georgia and more.

“Thank you so much for all of the hope you have built over these past couple of weeks!” Said Jessica Kantor, Development Coordinator of the Roc Solid Foundation. “I know it can be a lot, but we have already received such amazing feedback from the families.”

Team Members in Denver painted fences, playgrounds, sheds and more to refurbish the Rocky Mountain Village campgrounds.

We supported seven organizations this Build Month, benefiting communities across the country in a variety of ways! The San Antonio Team partnered with Morgan’s Camp to clean and enhance their camp with new cubbies and improved accessibility. The Teams in Houston, Charleston and our Home Services Team worked with Roc Solid to build play sets and play homes for children fighting cancer. In Indianapolis, Team Members worked with Servants at Work to build accessibility ramps. The Denver Team cleaned, made repairs, painted and built playgrounds for Easterseals Colorado’s Rocky Mountain Village campgrounds.

Dovetail Impact Foundation contributed more than $236,500 in grants to support these Build Month projects.

To accompany the beds they built, members of the Tampa Division presented Bridgepoint Church with a check to purchase 200 mattresses.

In Q2, we served our communities through a variety of CARE efforts in addition to Build Month. Team Members gave back by participating in 5Ks, cleaning and refurbishing a local homeless shelter, participating in blood drives, collecting diapers and wipes for mothers in need, volunteering at food banks, filling backpacks with school supplies, assisting at a local school’s field day, packing boxes of food for families in need and more.

We are thankful for all of our Team Members, Homeowners and community partners who donated their time and skills to make our communities a better place to live, work and thrive!

Check with your local division Team to see how you can participate in our School Supplies Drive during this quarter, and stay tuned for our Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive in Q4.
