Closing the Year with CARE
Houston, TX (January 16, 2026): In Q4, our David Weekley Homes Team Members made our CARE Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive a tremendous success.
The Team raised $159,145 and collected 230,692 pounds of food which benefited 116,500 individuals through a variety of nonprofit organizations. More than 1,500 Team Members also volunteered 7,380 hours.
Dovetail Impact Foundation contributed $160,000 in grants to further support these nonprofits.
“Utah Food Bank is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of David Weekley Homes, year after year,” said Utah Food Bank President and CEO Ginette Bott. “In addition to meaningful grant funding, hosting a food and fund drive allows you and your network to have an even bigger impact on the lives of the 445,000 Utahns, and 1 in 5 Utah kids, who face hunger. This year's food and fund drive that your organization hosted will provide the equivalent of 18,542 meals, which will feed 17 families of four for three months. We congratulate you on your success and are proud to call you a partner in Fighting Hunger Statewide!”
In addition to our Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive in Q4, we donated holiday gifts, ran and walked a 5K, built bikes and skateboards, cooked and served a meal, assisted in sports games for children with special needs, constructed a play cottage, and raised money for winter clothing for those in need.
We’re thankful for our extended family of Homeowners, Real Estate Agents, Vendors and Trade Partners, whose support makes it possible for us to continue enhancing lives through giving back to our communities.
Our Team is looking forward to continuing to support our communities through our CARE efforts in 2026.
