At David Weekley Homes, we love finding ways to live out Our Purpose of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives. We join with our Team Members, Homebuyers, vendors and community partners to share Our Purpose into the community through the robust volunteer and philanthropic efforts of our CARE program.
These are just a few of the local projects we have been working on in our Florida markets.
Jacksonville
- Organized a book drive benefitting Hugs Across the County, with 800 books donated to underprivileged children in St. Johns County
- Held two blood drives benefitting OneBlood, resulting in 81 donations to save lives
- Partnered with Five Star Veterans Center to update a building with new siding and landscaping
Orlando
- Hosted two blood drives benefitting OneBlood
- Junk in the Trunk collection drive for household items benefitting The Mustard Seed of Central Florida
- Built 43 beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace for our Build Month project
- Stuffed 400 backpacks for A Gift For Teaching to be given to children in need
Tampa
- Held two blood drives in Encore at FishHawk Ranch benefitting OneBlood
- Built 200 beds for children and donated bedding and hygiene items through our Build Month project benefitting BridgePoint Church
