I have only positive things to say about my experi
Hello, good morning. David Weekley built our home, and our experience with them has been excellent. They have supported us unconditionally throughout the entire process. Both the Builder Manager and the Sales Representative have always been available to answer our questions and assist us whenever needed. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to help have made a significant difference. I have only positive things to say about my experience with David Weekley and their team. We truly appreciate all the support and assistance they have provided.

Great home
The home is great - more attractive than most national builders on the outside, and well built on the inside. Process was good - our first salesman wasn't the best, but his replacement has been fantastic. Only complaint is the landscape package for a $1M home left a lot to be desired - should have been substantially better. But overall a great experience.

Excellent craftsmanship!!
The craftsmanship on the house is excellent! I am extremely impressed on how quiet the house is. I can tell due to the 2x6 construction the insulation in the house is amazing.

A+ experience across the board
The entire experience was first-class. The reps at the model homes, the build manager, and the warranty representative all genuinely care about every aspect of the process. This was the most professional and efficient home-buying experience I've ever experienced. Even better when the result is a beautiful home in a great neighborhood with an amazing school system.

New home not worth the price I paid
Experience was overwhelming and uneventful. Not as exciting as I thought. The color schemes, designs, building materials and quality construction are not actually used as mentioned at the beginning of the process. David Weekly builds cost effective for them with less than quality materials and workmanship. For the buyer it's cheap materials that will not last and are falling apart while living in home. Shabby work by cheap contractors that David Weekly hires. I have over 60 photos of repairs and touch ups that after 1 month have not been done as promised. Once the sales and building staff got their +10 rating on the survey they abandoned the customer, me. They yold me they would not do that. That they would assist me with the repairs and touch ups. Paint chipping, wall outlets all uneven, stained floors, walls, fireplace, windows screens, tile, crack in ceiling, fence door not completely painted, lots of paint splatter in and out. Defective stone and tile. Defective wood for fence is peeling. Patio concrete full of lumps, not smooth. Front porch brick has large broken pieces. Low water pressure from small and narrow pipes. Too many issues that I have to look at daily on a brand new home that I paid quite a bit. Too many much to mention. I am 71 years old with health issues and live alone. I purchased new to not have repair or touch up issues. I was told community was quite. Not true! I wasn't told the club house woukd be across the house. Lots of traffic to and from club house. My bedroom is in front. I wanted it in the back. I wanted patio in the back. So many no you can't gave that with this model. Or pay more for a different model. My realtor told me you want to get what you want, buy new build. Not true. Within David Weekly color schemes, designs and their materials you can choose. Lots if things I couldn't get what I wanted even if I paid for it. I have more grass and trees that I have to pay to maintain. Didn't want that. Paid HOA fees up front so they can tell me how to maintain the yard and what colors the house and door should be. I don't swim. No small children. Only wanted peace and stressless lifestyle. Which I was told by David Weekly staff I could have in Goodlands. I wanted to live in Grand Prairie, not Venus. Getting utilities was a process. No trash bin after 1 month. Lots of contractor trash that I pick up off lawn daily. Lots of loud music. I'm at the house daily. Retired. Visit my husband with Parkinsons and Dementia. Wish I had purchased a retirement home. Realtor only took me to one. Dark entrance to community at night. Head coyotes one night. Raccoons getting into garbage bags. Loud wind howling. I don't sleep much day ir night. House makes very loud banging noises. Was told it was settling. Yeah sure. More than disappointed. Exhausted and overwhelmed and depressed about the whole process especially the end result.
