Rated 4 out of 5 by from They builds nice homes but it takes a year This is the third home my wife and I have had built for us. It is expected that issues in the home building process will come up, however, the main concern to me is, how are these issues handled and are the home buyers concerns addressed. I will say that Jake our builder and Marcia, our sales consultant did a good job of handling and communicating the issues we raised. I believe David Weekly builds a good quality home and there are many supply chain issues ranging from concrete, flexible ducting, and glass/mirror shortages that we dealt with. I will say that my biggest disappointment is in the quality of the finishing work in our new home. The painters were very sloppy in getting paint on things (stair treads, window frames, floors) where they could've easily prevented it by masking off areas where they touched up. I was also disappointed in condition of the windows sills. The windows, IMHO, should be fully encased in wood vs sheetrock on top/sides of windows with wooden sills. We have dings, dents and debris on our window sills that no amount of paint will make look good. IMHO they all need to be sanded down and all the dings/dents filled an sanded and spray painted, not brush painted, in order to make the window look like they should. Also several cosmetic issues, that we marked with blue tape during our final walk-through, were not addressed and the blue tape simply removed without being fixed to our satisfaction. I will say however that DW Warranty team has promised to address and fix these issues for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Floral Valley Drive Overall, we are very satisfied and pleased with our new home and the buying experience. Both the sales and project management staff were very efficient, professional and friendly. Minor defects were repaired and sorted out quickly. The quality of the craftmanship and materials are very good. The design is excellent and provides for the latest technology and energy saving features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home Construction Experience We had a very good home building experience. It took longer than we had hoped but with all going on right now we understood. Our builder, Jake Pecca, was amazing. He put in extra hours to make sure we were satisfied. If there is a nomination for home buyer's builders choice award, Jake has my vote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Homeowners The word that best describes the entire process of buying and building our David Weekley home is - professional. The sales staff was always available to answer question, the design staff helped us pull together a plan that fit both our style and budget and the builder always made sure our ultimate satisfaction was his priority. There are always challenges that arise when building a home and in our case each challenge and promise was met. Even after closing the entire David Weekley staff has been their for us. Overall, we're very happy homeowners!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from David Weekley Home I had my home built during the year 2022 and moved in December. During the whole process the salesperson and builder were in contact with me weekly keeping me informed of the progress. They were always available for questions and responded quickly whenever I contacted them. There were never any unwanted surprises and the home was ready for closing exactly when I was told it would be. Thank you so much for a great experience.
