DAVID WEEKLEY HOMES COLLECTS MORE THAN 300 POUNDS OF FOOD FOR FAMILIES IN NEED
San Antonio, TX (January 27, 2015): Dozens of San Antonio families no longer have to worry about their next meal, thanks to a food drive held by David Weekley Homes. The home builder collected 325 pounds of peanut butter, canned soups, rice, tuna and other non-perishable items for the San Antonio Food Bank.
The hearty donation will provide 254 meals to about 63 families throughout the food bank’s 16-county service area. The food was donated by David Weekley team members, homebuyers, and other supporters.
