What to Expect When Building a New Home
At David Weekley Homes, you have the option to build a new home from the ground up. Referred to as To-Be-Built homes, these homes involve the Homebuyer participating in each part of the home building process from the homesite selection in their chosen community to closing. Although it can take longer to move in compared to Quick Move-in Homes and resale homes, there are many reasons why selecting a To-Be-Built home may be worth the wait.
Like all of our homes, your home will be built in 10 stages once your homesite is selected and your Purchase Agreement is signed. Throughout the home building process, you will have the opportunity to meet with various members of your Home Team and witness the phases of your home completion unfold. It can be so exciting to meet with your Sales Consultant and select your homesite and floor plan, then explore the Custom Choices™ available to you with the guidance of your Design Consultant at the Design Center.
Over the course of several months, your Personal Builder℠ will provide you with frequent updates as your selections come to life and your home comes together. Even after moving in, your Warranty Service Representative will be there for you should you need them.
