Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Home In A New City Our family relocated from New York to Settler's Landing in Nocatee. It was a huge move and we were not able to be local for the build. Throughout the process the sales person and general contractor were very approachable and tried to keep us up to date with all the changes by doing weekly phone calls and sending pictures whenever possible. We felt very comfortable communicating via text or email when ever we had a question or concern. The builder tried and were successful in timing our closing with the sale of our previous home. The closing went smoothly and after closing the warranty department has been very responsive. All in all we feel very blessed to be in our dream home.

When it was time for the in- person appointments, we felt like we were very prepared. While the current times were challenging for builders and suppliers all over the country, DW kept the communication lines open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could not be happier! Our home buying experience was entirely remote! We could not be happier with both our sales rep Mike and our builder William. They made what we thought would be a daunting and stressful endeavor so easy and enjoyable. We never felt the need to even visit our home during the entire construction process. We were kept up to date every week with phone calls, texts, photos, and detailed updates. After our first conversation with William we knew that he was going to take care of everything, and he continued to go above and beyond our greatest expectations. He worked tirelessly to be sure every detail was flawless. He was always checking on the progress of our home and kept us informed constantly. We were so comfortable with David Weekley that we encouraged our parents to purchase a home remotely as well. They also had the same excellent experience and service. We saw our home and lot for the first time a few days before our closing date and have lived in it for about a month. We find something new to love about it everyday! We can not say enough great things about the DW team and our experience and are living proof that the Weekley way was most definitely the best way we could have ever chosen!!

The communication could have been better as well as the updates from our builder. We did not like that we could not make changes to our home as it was not in the sheetrock phase. We were excited to move into our before the holidays. However, we have now ran into major plumbing issues a week before Christmas which is no fun.

Out of sheer luck, we stumbled upon the perfect house in the perfect location. Our personal builder, Adam, was able to manage all of the industry issues like a pro and we closed as close to on schedule as possible. Between him and our sales rep, Ashley, we were kept informed throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail and commitment to making this our dream home made the entire process amazing and we cannot thank them enough.

From our first visit to look at homes with our realtor, Lisa (sales person) stood out beyond anyone else. She was professional, friendly, and informative without feeling pushy. I am still blown away by her poise and thoughtfulness. She even stopped by just last week to drop off a wedding anniversary gift for us. Sergio, our builder, has been knowledgeable and up front throughout the entire process. We experienced excellent communication throughout the process. As far as our home, we love it. Any potential issues, they fixed right away or even were on it before we could comment. Our home is beautiful and feels well-built. I would without a doubt build with David Weekly again in the future and recommend them to others.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed and upset All along we were made to believe we were buying a new house from a top “quality” builder. What we were delivered was a house full of defects and mediocre construction. To begin with the delivery was delayed by more than three months always using the pandemic excuse. While the salesperson and construction manager always promised to deliver a “sanitized” house, it was deplorably dirty. From the first moment we started living in the house there have been numerous hidden poor quality construction problems, electric, plumbing, paint, woodwork, framing, dry wall, flooring, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, bathroom tiles and glass enclosures, windows, and more. We are now two months in the house and still unable to carry a normal life because the constant traffic of repair workers. The worse part is the unpredictability and long lead times to correct defects as well as expectations of new defects popping out. When we agreed to build and buy from David Weekley Homes, our money and readiness was perfect; yet, their product is not. If we could return this house and get our money back, we would. We felt we were lied to. Sales and construction management over promising and under delivering. On the positive, the warranty team is trying the best they can but they have limited control over the trades responsible to fix the defects.
