What to Expect When Making Design Selections
When the contract is signed to build your David Weekley home from the ground up and construction is almost ready to begin, it’ll then be time to select colors and finish materials for the interior of your upcoming home. A professional Design Consultant will lead you through this process and take the time to get to know you and your preferences. Together you’ll create a look for your new home that’s a true reflection of your personality. Learn more about the Design Center experience here.

Experience the best in Choice when you build a new home with David Weekley Homes. The process begins with selecting your homesite and floor plan, then the architectural FlexSpace℠ options, and finally your finishes and other design selections. Throughout the process, your Home Team will be there to explain availability and help you make the best choices while balancing your budget, livability goals and personal design style.
The floor plan and homesite selection will work hand-in-hand, with each homesite having a number of pre-determined floor plans that can be built on it. Your choice of floor plan will then open up a variety of FlexSpace options, such as adding French doors to the study or replacing a shower and tub combination with a luxurious Super Shower. Finally, you’ll choose your new home’s design finishes, such as flooring, fixtures, countertops and paint.
