Ratings & Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best home buying experience we could have imagined My husband and I had the best experience building our dream home with David Weekley. Jeff, EC and the design team were absolutely outstanding in every way imaginable. They were always there to help with any question we had, any detail we thought up, even things we wanted at the last minute were able to be done. They were so kind and patient! They followed up weekly with us which was really neat - we always knew what was going on. There were multiple times throughout the process where we said to each other how we couldn't believe how great Jeff and EC were, and just how amazing this whole experience was. We are so happy to have found our dream home and even happier to have done it with your help.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Our home We are so pleased with our home. The process was pretty stressful at times, but I trusted our personal builder with everything he was doing; if I saw something was wrong, the next time I visited the site he had fixed it, without me saying a word, overseeing and perfecting things I didn’t even notice. We are so thankful to have a well-built home that is warrantied, so that we don’t have to worry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Home Review We purchased an inventory home that was already complete when we first visited it. We fell in love and had a smooth, stress free buying experience. Cory is truly professional and seemed to care about us as people, which was a refreshing change at the end of a tenuous real estate journey. We can’t wait to move in this weekend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldnt Donate This House To Charity. My husband and i are US Navy veterans and used our VA disability to build what we wanted to be our forever home unfortunately I dont even know where to begin with the issues we experienced while building with DWH. We had issues from day one, we were told that all issues would be addressed during each stage of the process...LIE.Our framing was put up sloppy and haphazardly we had boards that were half missing, boards that were "cut" to fit with a hammer instead of an actual saw because a contractor was to lazy or in too much of a rush to be done properly and we were told that a majority of our framing issues wouldnt be fixed because they "wouldn't be seen once walls were up." We have walls that bow out because drywall wasn't put up properly & walls that we could literally shake they were put together so poorly. The electricians tore countless holes in our drywall that in turn the drywall contractor just slapped some putty and painted over. Our Kitchen and master bathroom tile is a whole different disaster, our tile is unlevel, uneven and just an all around horrible job done, our kitchen tile had to be redone 3 times in the spot behind our stove and each time the job just got worse and worse. the integrity of the tile is also compromised as they ripped the drywall out and simply threw a board in the wall to nail the tiles too. Our master bathroom we just gave up on, not only was it originally completely done in the wrong color because the designer failed to verify the tile, but then the contractors decided not to sand down the floors for an even surface for the correct tile even after we were told this would happen. Again like the kitchen the tiles in the master bath were uneven and unlevel, when we complained we were told that "this is the craftsmanship these days and it wouldn't be done any better" Even when we did personally research on the tile company and nothing but negative reviews complaining of the same issues we were having, we even told DW this and were told that its hard to find good craftsmanship, which i suppose is true when DW doesn't research what i can only assume was the lowest bid possible. To make matters worse, i assume DW got tired of our "complaining" and told us to either accept our terrible tile work as is or walk away from the house we spent nearly 8 months building To put so much money into a home we were apparently being unreasonable to expect professional work from the slab work to the paint job we wont make these mistakes again. This is only a small overview of the issues we had with DW, we have only been in this house a month and a half & are sad to say that had we had other options we would not have closed on this home, we have 4 children and moving was the only option and after waiting 8 months for our home to be complete it just wasn't worth the battle. I'm sure we would think differently if we had purchased a prebuild but I'm glad we didn't or we would be unaware of the poor craftsmanship hiding behind the walls. DW should be ashamed to even sell this home. It would be an embarrassment to even charge for this property or to even donate to charity. we will be sure to steer friends and family far away from DW and when given the chance to move we will definitely not be using DW again I do however need to make light of one over positive aspect. Our sales Consultant Janice was absolutely wonderful to work with, she was very patient with us during the first stages of the process and was probably the only pleasant part of our buying experience. We know many of our issues were out of her hands and want to make sure she receives special notice for being the only positive aspect of our experience with DW,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from David Weekley goes above and beyond My wife and I had been considering building a home for a while, visiting many communities and builders. Courtney Lester at David Weekley's Cypress Forest development in Kyle, TX greeted us with a genuine smile and interest in helping us. Being the son of a builder, I knew very quickly that David Weekley invested in the way they build that is superior to competitors. Courtney and the team at David Weekley went above and beyond in their efforts to fulfill our dream throughout the process. Any concern was addressed immediately. Jeff Belsford supervised our build, and he was terrific as well. He acted as if you were family and he made sure we were happy with everything, checking in with us over and over. We asked for a couple of adjustments along the way, and Jeff made sure they were done without delay. Our trip to the David Weekley Design Center was exhilarating, though we were anxious about our decisions. The designer at the Center listened carefully. She was patient, helpful and responsive to our input, offering us plenty of time to consider our choices. The day of our closing we walked through the home and seemed surreal how all of the planning and decisions were now a reality. At the end of a red carpet was a custom doormat welcoming to our new home. Now that we've been in our home about a month, I can say that the decision to use David Weekley was fortuitous. We hadn't planned it. We came across David Weekley in our search, and they did the rest. They nailed it, no pun intended. This weekend my home was filled with family celebrating one of our grandchildren's birthday. Everyone delighted in the way the home allowed us to enjoy the moment. We sat on our back porch enjoying cake and a cool breeze coming from the nearby fishing pond. I have friends and family that have built homes recently, and none of them have had the quality of experience we had. None of them built with David Weekley. They said they wish they had.
