We’re celebrating 45 years of Building Dreams, Enhancing Lives.

New Construction Homes Available in Houston, TX

Since 1976, David Weekley Homes has called Houston, Texas home. When we started building, homes were cramped, boxy and boring – we changed all that with our unique FlexSpace℠ concept, by designing elegant new homes in Houston that live as well as they look. And, we’re still building new homes in Houston on those same foundations today.

At David Weekley Homes, we take pride in providing our Homeowners with beautiful, energy-efficient Houston homes that enhance our Customer’s lives. David Weekley's EnergySaver™ homes in Houston are built to reduce energy consumption and lessen your environmental footprint. And, if that isn’t enough, our award-winning homes feature refined and innovative new home design in Houston with timeless appeal, dramatic exteriors and highly-livable interiors.

As one of the largest Houston home builders, we build on a wide variety of homesites. The new Houston homes we build feature a backdrop of comfortable surroundings and amenities, and each one is infused with that Texas charm.

Search for new homes in Houston, TX communities such as Cane Island - Quail Park in Katy, Hills of Westlake 60', and even Parkland Square 50’ - Cottage Series and Towne Lake. Also, see our exclusive, new homes inside and near the Inner Loop in Reserve at Washington Phase II, and more!

Ratings & Reviews
Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Home, Best Home My wife and I have purchased homes before, but nothing prepared us for the David Weekley experience. Our sales consultant asked us about our family, lifestyle, personal likes & dislikes. She knew just the right questions to ask to make us think and make good decisions. Our designer helped my wife transform her good taste into good decisions as far as colors and features inside the home. All I had to do was stay out of the way and say, "Yes!" when they asked me if I liked something. Our sales consultant and construction supervisor kept us up to date during construction so there were no surprises. They answered all of our questions and invited us to drop by as often as we liked to see the progress. After closing, they didn't just toss us the keys and say, "Adios!" They took the time to make sure we understood everything about our new home and, because nobody is perfect, corrected a few items we noticed after move-in. I can't imagine a better home buyer experience. My wife and I both want this to be the last home we buy. But if it isn't, we'd gladly buy another David Weekley home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Went above & beyond, making our dream a reality!! Brittany Bush and Jesse Plata of David Weekley Homes were a true pleasure to work with from beginning to end, and even beyond. They built our home like they were building their own, and made the home building journey SO enjoyable! They are probably two of the most hardworking, dedicated people we have encountered in both a professional and private capacity. We couldn’t have asked for better builders or nicer friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of delays but overall positive experience Due to delays that were no fault of David Weekley, my experience was at times frustrating, but both my sales consultant and my builder were a pleasure to work with and I am pleased, for the most part, with the outcome.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Experience Not happy with the process at all. Constant mistakes being made, no quality control from my builder, sloppy craftsmanship and no attention to detail. There are cracks everywhere and nothing has been caulked and sealed properly - cabinets, flooring, etc. Floors squeak and are uneven after one month of living in the new house. The landscape is absolutely horrible and they already "fixed it" three times. Poor quality grass, uneven draining, bad sprinklers. The warranty manager is completely ignoring my emails and requests for service and is arguing with me that they did a good job when I point to the multiple mistakes made and the sloppy fixes. They will give constant praise to their team and their process and tell you they offer such a unique building experience to get your money, and then when you're done and point to the problems they will say this is just a mass produced home so it cannot be perfect. I could write pages about all the things that are not right. Absolutely horrible experience so far, especially after moving in and discovering problem after problem and they do not fix them properly and in a timely manner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great house, lots of challenges with builder We are happy with our home, or at least we will be when the list of IOUs is complete. The building process was quite challenging, as we were constantly identifying issues with the work being performed by the contractors. My wife and I really enjoyed getting to pick everything out to suit what we wanted, and DW does have a lot to offer in that respect. I just wish I hadn't felt like there were going to be significant quality issues if I didn't stay on top of the project from start to finish. A couple examples were brick sections without brick ties, mismatched paint, walls and doorways out of square, unfinished exterior trim, cabinets out of square and scuffed, rough / uneven concrete work, and the list could go on. The home is beautiful, I just didn't enjoy doing the foreman work for DW.
